Overview
A newly renovated twin bedroomed gite situated on the edge of a small hamlet nestled in the foothills of the Monts de Blond. It offers a comfortable base to explore the Limousin with it’s spectacular lakes, countryside and golf courses.
On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen/lounge/dining area with stairs leading to a twin bedroom and en suite shower room. It has UK Satellite TV, Hi-Fi and DVD.
The property is cosy and is heated by a log burning fire and electric heaters.
Outside there is a patio area with BBQ and outside furniture and has delightful countryside views.
The surrounding area is a paradise for ramblers, cyclists and nature lovers. For the golf enthusiasts there is a golf course just 15 minutes away and more a bit further a field.
Cieux is the nearest village and boasts a fine restaurant at the hotel, bar/restaurant, bakers, and a few shops. At St Junien and Bellac you will find large supermarkets, numerous restaurants and delightful shopping areas.
It is an ideal stopover if travelling to or from the South of France or Spain.
Limoges airport is a 1/2 hour drive away where Ryanair operate flights from Liverpool, East Midlands and Stanstead. Also Flybe.com fly from Southampton and Newcastle.
