Set amongst the olive groves near a small hillside village, with the sea to the west (so you should get some spectacular sunsets) and the Taigetos mountains to the east, you have superb all round views.
There are excellent tavernas only 5 minutes drive down the hill in the charming fishing village of Kitries, and the gently sloping Santava beach is just 5kms away. The popular, sandy beaches of Stoupa and Kalogria are 20km away, after passing through the picturesque town of Kardamili with its traditional Mani tower houses in the old town.
This is rural Greece at its best, where the villagers wave to you as they pass by on their way to work in the olive groves or to tend their sheep and goats. The nightlife here is listening to the cicadas and watching the lights of the fishing boats in the bay.
