Castagni d'Oro Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful 300-year old Tuscan villa in a Medieval hilltop village in the green hills of Northern Tuscany, above the spa town of Bagni di Lucca. We offer 2 spacious guest rooms with extensive continental breakfasts.
Castagni d'Oro B&B is a 300 year old stone villa in the hilltop village of Brandeglio. These Medieval villages were built on top of hills to make life more comfortable throughout the year, catching the cooling breezes in summer and avoiding the bad weather in the valleys below in winter. The breathtaking views are just a lucky bonus!
The house was built to traditional Tuscan design with thick stone walls, huge chestnut beams, terracotta floors and hand-carved stone staircase.
It has recently been refurbished and made into a comfortable Bed & Breakfast by the English owners. There are 2 large guest rooms with en-suite shower rooms and a large, central wood-burning fireplace makes the house warm and cosy for those winter breaks!
The house has a terrace and garden for guests' use and the private driveway has parking for 3 cars, a rarity in these villages.
